Pet Licensing Update

SDL recently released an update aimed to streamline the Pet Licensing Request process for both municipal staff and citizens. Among other things, users will find a complete redesign of the Pet License Web Request user interface.

The updated user interface allows for all important license information to be shown and edited on the initial page of the application.

Search for Pets

  • Search for existing pets during Pet Licensing Renewal Requests
  • Easily update pet details
  • Deactivate pets when a license is no longer needed
  • Municipal administrators can choose which functions are active for public userspet searchPets can be searched for using License Number and License Year OR using Pet Name and Address

Pet Licensing Payments

  • Allow residents to pay for their pet license while submitting the Pet License Request
  • Secure third party payment site allows for easy credit card transactions

    Home Page Renewal Reminder

    • Remind citizens that their pet license renewal deadline is approaching
    • Provided link brings users directly to the Pet License Request and generates all pet details
    • Reminder appears on home page every time a citizen logs into their SDL Portal accountsdl reminderThe link in the reminder will bring users to the application renewal page.

      Custom Renewal Email from SDL Desktop

      • Edit the text and image content for all Pet Renewal Emails
      • Add custom attachments
      • Set emails to automatically generate recipient name, pet name or address
      • Change or update at any time
