May 25, 2023 - SOMERSET, NJ - Spatial Data Logic (SDL) is pleased to announce that the Borough of Wildwood Crest has selected SDL’s municipal management software to modernize operations for its departments and community.

Located in Cape May County, New Jersey, the borough will be implementing SDL’s Clerk and Pet Licensing modules in the Clerk’s office. With its new software, the office will have a comprehensive solution to streamline and automate processes such as mercantile licenses, pet licenses, OPRA requests and other department-specific tasks. By utilizing SDL Hosting, the department will also have convenient access to the software when working remotely. 

Additionally, the Clerk is planning to activate SDL’s citizen portal to make it easier for the public to access borough information and services online. With the SDL Portal, the borough can empower its 3000+ residents to apply for business licenses, register pets and submit OPRA requests online. Additionally, the borough can provide public access to property information through the portal to reduce the volume of phone calls and OPRA requests.

May 8, 2023 - SOMERSET, NJ - Spatial Data Logic (SDL) is pleased to announce that the Borough of Westwood has selected Spatial Data Logic’s municipal management software to modernize processes for its departments and residents. 

Located in Bergen County, New Jersey, the borough will be implementing SDL’s Construction, Land Use, Code Enforcement and Public Works modules. Prior to implementing SDL, the borough used multiple software vendors to oversee its departments. With multiple departments now utilizing the same system, the borough will be able to share information between departments, work more efficiently from the field and provide a single destination for citizen services.

When working in the field, SDL Mobile will make it easier for Westwood’s inspectors and DPW staff to access property information, manage complaints, and complete tasks such as inspections and service requests. Additionally, SDL Hosting will enable employees to access their software from any browser, facilitating remote work. 

With its new software, the Borough of Westwood will be able to improve online services and engagement for its 11,000+ residents. SDL’s software includes three citizen engagement platforms that the borough can activate for its residents: a municipal website, a web-based portal and a free mobile app. Once activated, the borough can share property information publically and enable online services such as property claims, landlord registrations, issue reporting, inspection requests and zoning applications.

Furthermore, the borough’s building department can use SDL’s citizen platforms to comply with new UCC permitting legislation through online permit applications, plan uploads, inspection requests, status updates and communication exchanges.

SOMERSET, NJ - April 12 , 2023 - Spatial Data Logic welcomes the Borough of Harrington Park. Located in Bergen County, New Jersey, the borough has selected SDL’s construction software and municipal website services to modernize processes for its staff and community members.

SDL’s construction module will make it easy for Harrington Park’s Building Department to streamline development processes, work efficiently in the field and serve its citizens online. SDL’s end-to-end permitting and plan review solution will enable the borough to accept applications and plans online, review plans electronically, complete inspections in the field, and issue permits and certificates. Meanwhile, the public will enjoy the convenience of online applications, inspection requests, permit searches and status updates.

Harrington Park is also working with Spatial Data Logic to revamp its municipal website. Soon residents will experience a fresh new look, in addition to a user-friendly site that will make it even easier to find borough information and services. Should Harrington Park choose to integrate its website with SDL’s citizen portal, visitors will be able to log in to the borough’s website to unlock personalized information and services such as digital forms and requests, dynamic town maps, and property/permit searches.

SOMERSET, NJ - Jan 19, 2023 - Spatial Data Logic is excited to welcome the Borough of Penns Grove. Located in Salem County, New Jersey, the borough has selected SDL’s software to manage its Code Enforcement, Land Use, Clerk and Pet Licensing processes.

When working from the office, the borough’s staff can use SDL’s software to manage processes like planning/zoning applications, pet licenses, OPRA requests, parking permits, code violations and complaints. The borough will also be able to access its software remotely with SDL Hosting, ensuring business continuity and facilitating remote work. Additionally, the Borough of Penns Grove’s Code Enforcement department will have access to SDL’s mobile app, enabling staff members to access property information, manage complaints and complete inspections in the field.

The borough is also looking forward to improving service delivery for its 4800+ residents. SDL’s three citizen engagement platforms will make it easy for each of the departments to offer services online such as mercantile applications, parking permits, Clerk licenses, property/landlord registrations, property claims, change in ownership/tenancy certificate applications, zoning permit applications and pet license applications/renewals. Penns Grove will have full control over which departments, services, and information is available to the public.
