Borough of Wood-Ridge Selects SDL

SOMERSET, NJ - June 3, 2022 - SDL welcomes our newest client, the Borough of Wood-Ridge! Located in Bergen County, New Jersey, the borough will be implementing SDL’s Construction, Code Enforcement, Land Use, Clerk & Pet Licensing modules to modernize processes throughout its building.

Spatial Data Logic will be replacing two separate software solutions, enabling the borough to work more collaboratively through one interconnected system. In addition to municipal-wide visibility, the software will also streamline permitting, inspections, violations, board applications, OPRA requests, pet licensing and other department processes. Meanwhile, SDL’s mobile app and hosting capabilities will enable Wood-Ridge’s staff to access information and complete tasks from the office, field or when working remotely.

The Borough of Wood-Ridge is also looking forward to activating its citizen portal to enhance its online presence. With the SDL Portal, the borough’s departments can choose to display property and permit information for the public, which will save time for the municipality and decrease OPRA requests. Wood-Ridge can also activate various online services for its citizens such as pet license applications and renewals, issue reporting, OPRA requests, zoning applications, inspection requests and property registries. In particular, the portal will help the borough’s construction department comply with new UCC permitting requirements by allowing residents, contractors and other professionals to apply for building permits, submit plans, request inspections and monitor requests online.

We are excited to work with the Borough of Wood-Ridge and can’t wait for the borough to get started with its new municipal management software!

The Borough of Ship Bottom Selects SDL

SOMERSET, NJ - May 24, 2022 - Spatial Data Logic is excited to welcome our newest client, the Borough of Ship Bottom. Located in Ocean County, New Jersey, the borough’s Building & Zoning Office will be implementing SDL’s Construction, Land Use & Code Enforcement modules.

With its new software, the office will be able to streamline processes like permitting, plan reviews, inspections, board applications and property registries. Since SDL’s department modules and platforms are connected, the departments will also be able to share information and collaborate on development projects.

SDL’s software will also help the borough’s staff access their work from any location. For instance, SDL Mobile provides convenient access to property information and schedules from the field. It also allows inspectors to access applications, send arrival notifications, complete inspections, look up statutes, issue violations and complete other tasks from a smartphone or tablet. Additionally, SDL’s hosting services will make it easy for municipal employees to access their software from any web browser when working remotely.

Ship Bottom’s Building & Zoning Office also plans to activate SDL's citizen portal to make it easier for residents, businesses and professionals to access information and services online. With the SDL Portal, the borough will have the option to turn on property & permit searches, landlord registrations, issue reporting, property registries, property claims, permit applications, inspection requests, zoning applications and other web requests. They also will have access to a custom, digital form builder that will allow them to create and add other town-specific forms to their portal.

We look forward to working with Ship Bottom and modernizing processes for the borough’s staff and citizens!

With its new software, the borough will be able to work efficiently both in the office and out in the field. SDL’s municipal management software will help the DPW manage complaints, service requests, fleet management, hard asset management, vehicle tracking, and stormwater management.
