Spatial Data Logic Named A GovTech 100 Company

We are thrilled to announce that Spatial Data Logic (SDL) has been named a GovTech 100 company. Each year Government Technology Magazine recognizes 100 companies that make a difference in state and local government. This year’s list is particularly noteworthy, as it also spotlights companies that have helped government organizations respond to the pandemic through the implementation of innovative technology.

“In 2020, state and local governments faced a whole host of new and unforeseen challenges that accelerated the need for digital adoption. As a company, we focused on innovation and helping municipalities pivot to offer services online and keep critical processes in motion,” said Jack Flood, Vice President of Spatial Data Logic. “We are honored to be recognized for our efforts.”

For the past 24 years, Spatial Data Logic’s municipal management software has helped over 200 New Jersey local governments to streamline and automate processes, increase visibility between departments and deliver online services for residents. We offer full department solutions including permitting, inspections, OPRA requests, service requests, complaint management, pet licensing, property management and more.

In March, SDL transitioned all operations to be fully virtual including all deployments, support, client meetings and training sessions. We focused on innovation, developing new and enhanced tools to help municipalities address the unique challenges resulting from the pandemic. One such example is Spatial Data Logic’s remote inspection feature which allows inspectors to safely complete virtual inspections from their web browser.

“The pandemic has opened the door for local governments to explore innovative technologies that will enable their staff to work safely and efficiently while better serving their constituents.” said Jack Flood. “We are excited to be a part of the digital evolution in local government and we thank our staff, our clients and Government Technology Magazine for this recognition.”
