Our History
From small towns to large cities and counties, Spatial Data Logic (SDL) has spent the past 26 years building proven software solutions for local governments.
Originally founded as a GIS company, Spatial Data Logic quickly uncovered the need for an interconnected software solution that would help each department with its individual functions, while also facilitating interdepartmental visibility and collaboration.
Today, Spatial Data Logic’s portfolio consists of desktop software, cloud-based software, mobile apps, municipal websites and citizen platforms that modernize processes for local governments and citizens alike. All of SDL’s department modules and platforms work together making it easy for departments to share information and streamline tasks such as permitting, licensing, plan reviews, inspections, code enforcement, complaint management, public information requests, service requests and reporting. GIS continues to play an integral role in our solution, offering users the ability to link information, documents and reports to a parcel to create a robust property history.
As a company, we remain steadfast in our commitment to innovation, frequently releasing new features to help local governments comply with new legislation, keep up with emerging technology and satisfy the growing needs of their communities. SDL also recognizes that some of the best ideas come from our clients, and we provide an open forum for our clients to get involved in the development process.
Whether you are just getting started with your digital journey or ready to fully embrace technology, Spatial Data Logic is ready to help!
