SOMERSET, NJ - June 23, 2022 - Spatial Data Logic is excited to welcome the Borough of Lincoln Park! Located in Morris County, New Jersey, the borough will be implementing SDL’s Construction, Code Enforcement, Land Use & Fire Prevention software.
With Spatial Data Logic’s municipal management software, the Borough of Lincoln Park will have an interconnected solution that will increase transparency and collaboration throughout the building. Previously, its Construction, Code Enforcement, Land Use & Fire Prevention processes were managed through two separate software databases. With all of these departments now flowing through one unified system, the borough will have better visibility into property history, department activities and development projects.
SDL’s software and hosting services will help the borough work efficiently in the office and when working from home. With its new software, the departments will be able to streamline permitting, inspections, violations, plan reviews and other municipal operations. Lincoln Park will also have access to a mobile app for its inspectors and citizen engagement tools to help disseminate information and move services online.
When choosing a new software provider, Lincoln Park's Building department looked for a proven software solution that its staff could rely on to streamline operations, collaborate with other departments, work efficiently from the field and comply with new UCC permitting legislation. Based on 25 years of best practices, SDL's software will enable the borough to accept permits and plans electronically, review digital plans, communicate with applicants, and facilitate online inspection scheduling.
